Privacy policy

This site is a set of static pages. It does not ask you to register, and it does not run its own analytics or advertising scripts.

What is collected

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, user agent, requested address and time of each request for security and troubleshooting. These logs are short-lived.
• Email. If you write to hello@bowlandbristle.example, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to answer it.
• Outbound link clicks. Links to retailers pass through this site's own redirect (/go/…), which is recorded in aggregate so we can see which pages are useful. The record contains the product slug and the time, not your identity.
• Retailer cookies. Once you arrive at a retailer's site, their own privacy policy and cookie rules apply, including the cookie that attributes a purchase to an affiliate link.

What is not collected

No account, no newsletter without an explicit request from you, no selling or sharing of personal information with advertisers, and no profiling.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Write to hello@bowlandbristle.example. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their information.
